Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Over the years I'd kept all my old computer equipment, mobiles and leads as I just didn't trust leaving things in council tip! Found T&M via google and even as a small domestic customer they have been superb. Quick to respond, fast collection and proof of disposal including drive destruction given. Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

They arrived on the day they promised, very professional and followed up with a Hazardous Waste Transfer consignment. Highly recommend and will use again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It’s always refreshing to have local business that can deliver timely service. It was easy to arrange collection of IT equipment and to be assured of safe and secure disposal is priority. We also had some refurb computers for our education centre and they work very good. Thank you T&M Reuse ♻️ we look forward to continue using your service and recommending you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am very impressed with the service received from T&M. Many other recycling initiatives across Leeds claim to be free but once details were given, turned out not to be. However T&M stayed true and collected our items super quickly. Friendly customer service team and driver too!

Need to Get Rid of Old Phones in Leeds? We’re Here to Help

Every year, over 30 million mobile phones are discarded in the UK, but less than 20% are recycled properly. At T&M Reuse Yorkshire Limited, we make it easy to dispose of old phones securely and sustainably. Whether you’re a business upgrading devices or a household decluttering drawers, our free mobile phone disposal Leeds service ensures your old devices are recycled ethically, data is destroyed permanently, and toxic e-waste stays out of landfills.

Why choose us?

FREE Collection for 10+ phones in Leeds.
GDPR-Compliant Data Destruction – 100% secure.
Zero Landfill Policy – 98% materials recovered.
Fully Accredited – ISO 14001, ADISA, and WEEE-compliant.

Why Proper Mobile Phone Disposal Matters

1. Data Security Risks

Old phones contain sensitive data – photos, messages, passwords, and even corporate information. Simply deleting files or resetting devices doesn’t guarantee data removal. Criminals can recover information using basic software, risking:

Identity theft
Corporate espionage
GDPR fines (up to £17.5 million)

Our Solution:
We use military-grade data erasure or physical destruction to ensure no data remains.

2. Environmental Impact

Phones contain hazardous materials like lead, mercury, and lithium, which can poison soil and water if dumped. Recycling recovers valuable resources:

Gold, silver, copper from circuit boards.
Lithium and cobalt from batteries.
Plastics and glass for reuse.

Did You Know? Recycling 1 million phones saves enough energy to power 185 homes for a year!

3. Legal Compliance

The UK WEEE Regulations 2013 and GDPR require businesses to dispose of e-waste securely and ethically. T&M Reuse provides certificates of destruction and recycling to prove compliance.
